丙型肝炎病毒(Hepatitis C virus,HCV)为单股正链RNA病毒,基因组全长约10kb。1991年国际病毒命名委员会将其归为黄病毒科丙型肝炎病毒属,黄病毒属和瘟病毒属则是该科的另外两个成员。黄病毒科的三个属成员基因组结构的共同特点是5′端为结构区,3′端为非结构区,基因组的排列顺序为5′C-E1-E2/NS1-NS2-NS3-NS4-NS5-
HCV El,E2/NS1 genes were cloned from the serum of a blood donor in Hebei Province.Sequence analysis shows that the homology of nucle tides with the same regions of American and Japanese HCV are 73.1.% and 82.2% respectively. The amino acids homology are 73.1% and 88.6% respectively.There are 16 glycosylation sites and all of them are at the same positions with the Japanese HCV peptide. A high variation of 30 amnio acids in the E2/NS1 N-teminal is deteced. Its homology with the American and Japanese HCV is only 33.4% and 53.4% respectively. There is 1.94% variation rate in the sequences between the two clones from the single donor.
