列出了图书馆传统音像视听服务的种种不足 ,指出了其不适应性以及电子阅览室开展 VOD服务的必要性 ,并对服务对象、节目源及技术手段的选择进行了分析论证 ,介绍了电子阅览室局域网内应用流媒体方式开展
The paper lists all kinds of shortage about traditional audio-video seeing and hearing service in library. It points out the service is not suitable for society and it is necessary to develop VOD in electron reading room. Meanwhile the paper demonstrates the choices about serving object, act source and technology method, and introduces some steps about developing VOD of the Streaming media in LAN.
