摘要
《红楼梦》是为行将没落衰败的封建制度唱出的一支“挽歌”。它用艺术形象展现了所谓“康乾盛世”这一表象掩盖下的种种“末世”征兆。贯穿、笼罩整部小说的是浓烈的令人窒息的死亡气息。这种气息就其本质而言是一种时代气息 ,是没落腐朽的封建阶级在濒临死亡之前散发出来的。作者以作品结构来渗透这种气息 ,以情节高潮来突现这种气息 。
The novel 'A Dream in the Red Mansion' is a coronach for the deteriorating feudalism. Artistic images are used to put on display the symptom of the 'end of the world' under the disguise of the so-called 'prosperous Kangxi and Qianlong Periods'. Overwhelmingly shadowing the novel is the strong and choking sense of death. This is in nature a common sense of the time, something that was sent out by the downfallen feudal class at the edge of its death. By using the structure of the novel soaked with this sense, and by using climax to foreground this sense, the author endows the sense with a kind of aesthetic implication.
