摘要
鲁迅时代的不少文学家、大学者同时也是大教育家 ,他们高度重视文学教育 ,遵循文学和教育的双重特点 ,不约而同提出了“无用之用”的文学教育观。鲁迅是其中的杰出代表 ,他在这方面的大量论述已实际构成完整的理论体系。本文试析了它的三层内涵 :(一 )文学与“实用无所系属” ,但其精神之用 ,尤其是其集中体现的教育作用 ,重要性决不亚于一切“实用” ;(二 )文学不能直接宣示教诫 ,其教是“非复常教” ,其用是“特殊之用” ;(三 )将审美渗透于娱乐 ,倡导为趣味所吸引的嗜好的读书 ,使人沉迷其中 ,自觉自愿接受教育感染。这一切 ,在日益重视文学教育的今天 ,无疑具有重要的借鉴意义。
In Luxuis times,many distinguished writers or scholars were at the same time great educators.Viewing from its dual feature,they proposed a 'use out of no use' outlook on literary education.Among them Luxun is the most outstanding representative.His brilliant exposition has actually led to an integrated theoretical system in this respect.This essay shows an attempt in expounding the three connotations of Luxun's theory.Firstly,unpractical as literature appears,its function of spiritual education carries no less weight than any other 'practical' existence. Secondly,literature never preaches directly.Its way of instructing is uncommon, and its function is naturally particular.Thirdly,in literature,entertainment is made a medium of aesthetic activities.Reading for pleasure is advocated.People are supposed to be absorbed in it and consciously accept the educational messages conveyed.All these will undoubtedly have referential significance today with people paying increasing attention to literary education.
