Natural gas will become a major energy in China owing to its merits of friendly to environment, combustion characteristics and wide use. So China decides to demonstrate the use of LNG in Guangdong Province, which will benefit Guangzhou as well. If the key problem to make a reasonable price in market for LNG is well solved, it is promising to popularize the use of LNG in Guangzhou not only for environmental protection but for economic interests. At the same time, LNG also provides new opportunities to the electric power industry in Guangzhou.
