摘要
本文记述为害楝树的一叶蝉新种—揀白小叶蝉(Elbelus melianusKuoh),此种属叶蝉总科小叶蝉科,发生于中国中南部,为害相当严重。
The present paper describes a new species of the genus Elbelus Mahmood (1967)which is injurious to the Melia azedarach Linne in the middle-southern part of China. The type specimens are deposited in Anhui Agricultural College.Elbelus melianus sp. nov. (fig. 1)This species is very similar to the Elbelus tripunctatus Mnahmood and E. yunanensis Chou et Ma, but may be distinguished by the former with abdomen brown-black, and the form of pygofer, plate, style and aedeagus.Length. ♂, 4.5mm; ♀, 4.7mm.Holotype ♂, allotype ♀ and paratypes 4 ♂♂, 10 ♀♀,Zhejian(gHangzhou), 1977.
