摘要
网络发展使得 Web数据库成为数据库应用的主流 ,随着数据量的迅速增长 ,共享成为大势所趋。然而 ,网络数据库实现技术与传统数据库在设计结构和平台上的差异成为主要障碍 ,要想集成 ,必需一种合适的数据模型和交换规范。 XML是一种半结构化的数据模型 ,XML数据是一种自描述的半结构化数据。在异构数据集成方面 ,XML显示了它强大的力量 ,尤其在数据模型和数据交换规范上。文章讨论了异构数据集成中 XML所起的作用及工作原理。
The development of Internet makes Web Databases the mainstream of database applications.With the data quickly increasing,data sharing becomes the main tendency.However,the differences between implementation technology and traditional database in structure and platform become the main obstacle.It is essential to find a suitable data to integrate. In the heterogeneous data integration,XML shows its strength,particular in the data model and data exchange norm.This paper has discussed the impact and word principle of XML in the heterogeneous data integration.
