This paper discusses the optimization problem for endoreversible Carnot heat pumps under a heat transfer law q ∝Δ( T n ),takes the best compromise between heat supply rate π and the product of reversible heat supply factor CP C,cold reservoir temperature T L and entropy production σ of the cycles, E = π CP C T L σ ,as the objective function.The heat supply factor at maximum E point and the corresponding heat supply rate are obtained.
