摘要
实时的服装动态模拟一直是计算机动画的研究热点 .在回顾弹性模型及其碰撞问题的相关研究工作的基础上 ,采用基于质点 -弹簧模型的动态模拟方法 ,产生了虚拟 3D模特表面的服装动态效果 .其中考虑了织物的非理想弹性属性和变化的空气流作用力 ,并针对系统实现的瓶颈——服装和人体的碰撞问题 ,提出一种碰撞检测算法 .
A physically-based model for computer animation of cloth objects is presented. First the related work on elastically deformable model and collision handling is reviewed. Then, an experiment system based on mass-spring model is developed, taking into account the non-elastic properties of woven fabrics and unsteady wind force. Emphasis is focused on the bottleneck of system performance--collision detection. The computational cost of simulation is reduced by applying a novel face-face collision detection approach. The result of current system is demonstrated and its further development is discussed.
