Design of remote redundant I/O module based on EtherCAT

摘要 针对工业生产中远距离测控点实时性、可靠性不高的问题,设计了基于EtherCAT的远程冗余I/O模块,可广泛应用于工业生产中远距离测控点的数字量的输入输出。系统选用EtherCAT实时工业以太网技术组网,以ET1100芯片为核心实现EtherCAT从站,保证了数据传输与控制的实时性;使用STM32F207ZE完成与EtherCAT从站通信和I/O模块的测控功能,设计了远程冗余I/O模块,保证了系统的可靠运行。实验表明,基于EtherCAT的远程冗余I/O模块与现有主流的基于Modbus-TCP的远程I/O模块相比,提高了带宽利用率及系统可靠性。 Aiming at the problem of real-time and reliability of remote measurement and control points in industrial production,a remote redundant I/O module based on EtherCAT is designed,which can be widely used in digital input and output of remote measurement and control points in industrial production.EtherCAT real-time industrial Ethernet technology is used to form a network,and ET1100 chip is taken as the core to realize the EtherCAT slave station,which ensures the real-time data transmission and control.STM32 F207 ZE is used to complete the communication with EtherCAT slave station and the measurement and control function of I/O module,and remote redundant I/O module is designed to ensure the reliable operation of the system.Experiments show that the EtherCAT-based remote redundant I/O module improves the bandwidth utilization and system reliability compared with the existing mainstream remote I/O module based on Modbus-TCP.
