电磁场作用下含三乙醇胺硼酸酯润滑油的摩擦学特性

摘要 使用改进后的四球摩擦磨损试验机,考察了添加三乙醇胺硼酸酯(TBE)抗磨添加剂的150SN基础油在电磁场作用下的摩擦磨损性能,使用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观测钢球磨痕表面形貌,采用X射线光电子能谱仪(XPS)和X射线能谱仪(EDS)分析磨斑表面典型元素的化学状态,并从电磁场的物理效应和化学效应两个方面对摩擦学机理进行了初步探讨。结果表明,在电磁场作用下,150SN基础油润滑下的钢球磨斑直径和摩擦因数均比无电磁场时大,含TBE润滑油润滑下钢球磨斑直径比无电磁场时小,但摩擦因数比无电磁场时大。分析认为,电磁场使得磨损微粒在摩擦表面形成一个保护膜层,并且电磁场会促进TBE中B和N元素与金属基体的键合作用,在摩擦表面形成含Fe和B元素的摩擦化学反应膜及含有机氮化物的高强度聚合物膜,从而影响TBE的抗磨减摩性能。 Electromagnetic effect generated by friction self on tribological properties of 150SN base oil and lubricating oils containing triethanolamine borate (TBE)was investigated by four ball tester.The morphologies of the worn surfaces and the chemical states of several typical elements on the worn surface were analyzed by means of scanning electronmicroscope(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS).The tribological mechanisms by the physicochemical effects of electromagnetic field were discussed.The results indicated that under electromagnetic field,friction coefficients and wear scar diameters(WSDs)of steel balls lubricated by 150SN mineral oil was higher than those without electromagnetism impact.The WSDs of steel balls lubricated by TBE-doped oils under electromagnetic field were all smaller than those under non-magnetic field,but the friction coefficients were higher.It is inferred that a protective coat is formed on the frictional surface due to the effect of electromagnetic field on the interaction of elemental boron and nitrogen in TBE with metal interfaces,resulting in the formation of the film containing element boron and nitrogen through tribochemical reaction and the improvement of the tribological properties of lube oil containing TBE.
