Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy and adverse reactions of psychological intervention combined with drugs in the treatment of depression,so as to provide a basis for the treatment of depression. Methods To retrieve the published papers on the efficacy of drug combined with psychological intervention in the treatment of depression published in the full-text database of PubMed,Tsinghua Tongfang(CNKI),Wanfang and VIP from 2005 to 2018.The Review Manager software was used for Meta analysis of the included literature. Results After the evaluation of the quality of the article,19 articles and 1598 patients were included,(808 in the study group,741 in the effective treatment,790 in the control group, and 585 in the effective treatment).Meta-analysis showed that the difference between psychological intervention and drug therapy was statistically significant(OR=4.06,95%CI:3.00~5.50,P<0.01).Subgroup analysis based on the type of intervention drug showed no heterogeneity between the subgroups(I^2=0%).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between psychological intervention and simple drug therapy(OR=0.65,95%CI:0.37~1.16,P=0.15). Conclusion Psychological intervention combined with drug therapy for depression is more effective than simple drug therapy.
