摘要
新发现的《瘴书》成书于1886-1887 年之间,属军事预防医学著作,在借鉴云南少数民族治疗瘴气的实践经验基础上,运用传统中医理论,结合现代西医技术,分析了瘴的致病原因、种类症状和治疗方法,并对军队卫生防护与健康教育提出一定的建议与措施,目的是为清军在海南瘴区的军事活动提供保障;同时,也借“治瘴”阐述了自身的治边理念。该书为研究我国云南疟疾史和晚清边疆治理问题提供了珍贵的原始史料,具有重要学术价值。
The newly discovered Book of Miasma, which was written between 1886 and 1887, is a work of military preventive medicine. On the basis of drawing lessons from the practical experience of Yunnan ethnic minorities in the treatment of miasma, the book analyzes the causes, types, symptoms and treatment methods of miasma by using the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and modern western medicine technology, and puts forward some suggestions and measures for military health protection and health education, in order to provide a guarantee for the military activities of the Qing army in the miasma area of Hainan. At the same time, the author also expounds his own concept of border management through“treating miasma”. The book provides valuable original historical data for the study of malaria history in Yunnan and the control of border areas in the late Qing Dynasty, and has important academic value.
