摘要
新中国70年来,中国大学英语教育经历了萎缩、复苏、停滞、恢复、稳定、改革和改革深化七个各具特色的发展阶段。对这七个阶段的8份大学英语教学大纲中"教学目标"和"教学方法"相关内容进行分析,同时对国内围绕大学英语教学目标和教学方法的文献进行了梳理。研究发现,在过去70年间,我国的大学英语无论是在教学大纲的完整性与科学性,还是在教学研究的系统性等方面都有了长足的发展。教学目标内涵更为丰富,满足更多层次的需求;教学方法从"单一""应试"等为特色逐渐转向培养英语应用能力的综合教学方式,教学手段从单纯的依赖传统教材发展到基于网络、多媒体、移动设备和传统手段的综合应用;教学研究从最初的思辨为主发展到能运用更为科学的定量和定性方法展开研究,研究范式更加规范化。展望未来,我国大学英语教育应进一步突出国际化、复合型人才培养目标、加强课程体系建设、推进在线开放课程建设、开展混合式教学研究与实践、构建科学评价体系、推进中国特色大学英语教育理论建构与研究,为实现高水平国际化人才培养目标创造良好条件。
Since 1949, College English has evolved through 7 different developmental stages, namely, shrinking, recovering, suspending, stabilizing, innovating and further innovating. Drawing upon the texts about the teaching goals and methodologies in the 8 College English Curricula and relevant literature, this study finds that in general, the curricula gradually become more comprehensive and scientific, and relevant research more systematic. Yet, to realize the goal of cultivating more international personnel, College English needs to promote the curricular construction, development of open online courses, practice and the research on the blended teaching, and construction of assessment system with dimensions.
