摘要
"文艺复兴"与"思想启蒙"是"五四"新文学运动共同存在、不可分割的两个命题,将它们放在一起考察并相互印证,对"五四"新文学运动的理解和阐释才会比较全面和深刻。"思想启蒙"曾被作为"五四"新文学精神内涵的主要特征,但"文艺复兴"却暗潮涌动,且日渐成为主流话语;"思想启蒙"则被反思、质疑或遮蔽,出现了从"反叛传统"到"回归传统"的话语转向。对于"思想启蒙"与"文艺复兴"的不同定位和价值确认,关系到"五四"新文学运动发生的资源、路径和功能等问题。"五四"新文学与新文化运动拥有历史和逻辑的必然联系,新文学是新文化运动的重要内容和载体,"思想启蒙"和"个性解放"则被新文化和新文学运动赋予了崇高的历史使命和价值期许。
"Renaissance" and "Ideological Enlightenment" are the two key co-existing and inseparable propositions in the May 4 th New Literature Movement. To fully understand and interpret the New Literature Movement, this paper specifically focuses on the relationship of the two, aiming to discuss how the two verify each other. Although "Ideological Enlightenment" was once regarded as the major feature of the spiritual connotation of the May 4 th New Literature Movement,"Renaissance" was surging in the dark and gradually became the mainstream discourse. Then "ideological enlightenment" was reflected, questioned or covered, displaying a shift from "rebelling against tradition" to "returning to tradition". In fact, the different orientation and value confirmation of "Renaissance" and "Ideological Enlightenment" are related to the historical resources, paths and functions of the new literature movement. The May 4 th New Literature Movement and the new culture movement form inevitable connection historically and logically, and the former is the important content and carrier of the latter."Ideological Enlightenment" and "the individual s liberation" are endowed with lofty historical mission and great value expectation by both of the two movements.
