摘要
霍桑是美国最伟大的浪漫主义作家之一。他于1836年创作的短篇小说《牧师的黑面纱》很好地体现了他的创作风格,也为英美文学教学提供了诸多的启示。本文从该小说的教学实践出发,指出其对英美文学教学内容、教学方法和教学思想的启示,以期提高英美文学教学的效果,提高学生的文学鉴赏力和人文素养,实现教育"立德树人"的根本任务。
Hawthorne is one of the greatest American romantic writers. One of his short stories-The Minister’s Black Veil, written in 1836, is a good example of his writing style and a source of inspiration for teaching British and American Literature. In terms of the teaching of the short story, this article sets out to describe what enlightenment it can bring to the teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching ideas of the courses of British and American Literature. In this way, we can improve the teaching effect of the course, enhance students’ability to appreciate literature and their humanistic quality, and accomplish the mission of cultivating students’virtue and character through education.
