摘要
文章借助在线文本分析工具Coh-Metrix,对比了不同水平英语专业学生汉英笔译译文中的24项语篇衔接特征,并分析了衔接显化差异在译文中的具体体现。研究发现,在语法衔接方面,低水平译文中第二人称代词的使用频率显著高于高水平译文,第三人称复数代词和时间连词的使用频率显著低于高水平译文;在词汇衔接方面,高水平译文相邻句子间的论元重叠和实词重叠显著高于低水平译文。
This paper compares 24 textual features between Chinese -English translation by English majors of different English proficiency using the online text tool Coh-Metrix, and analyzes the significantly different types of cohesive explicitation in specific texts. Results show that in the aspect of grammatical cohesion, low-score translation uses significantly more secondperson pronouns, while high-score translation uses significantly more third-person plural pronouns and temporal conjunctions. In the aspect of lexical cohesion, high-score translation uses significantly more argument overlaps and content overlaps in adjacent sentences.
