摘要 科学大洋钻探是地球科学领域规模最大、最为成功的国际合作研究计划,40余年来取得了令人瞩目的科学成就,大洋钻探船则是其中的关键。国际上先后有美国的"格罗玛·挑战者号"、"乔迪斯·决心号"和日本的"地球号"投入科学大洋钻探。正在使用中的"乔迪斯·决心号"和"地球号"各有优缺点,这两艘船向地球更深处钻探都有困难,因此,吸收美、日两艘船的经验,建造一艘能够向地球深部钻探的新一代科学大洋钻探船十分必要。本文介绍了科学大洋钻探船的历史和现状,讨论了中国建造大洋钻探船的重要意义和主要技术指标。 Scientific ocean drilling represents one of Earth sciences' longest running and most successful internationalcollaborations, which has made remarkable achievements in past 40 years. Such brilliant achievementswere made mainly by the scientific ocean drilling vessels. There are three ocean drilling vessels serve for scientificocean drilling: Glomar Challenger and JOIDES Resolution contributed by United States and Chikyu contributedby Japan, respectively. JOIDES Resolution and Chikyu are currently working for IODP, but both of them havetheir own advantages and disadvantages, and they both can’t drill deeper to the Earth. It is very necessary to builda new generation drilling vessel in order to drill to deeper part of the Earth. This paper reviews the history andcurrent status of the scientific ocean drilling vessels, and discusses the important significance and technical indicatorsof Chinese ocean drilling vessel.
