摘要
硬件描述语言 (HDL)的出现使得现代数字系统的设计由硬件到软件 ,由困难到简单 ,同时效率大大提高 .笔者介绍了 VHDL的含义、特点及应用前景 ,并重点介绍了 VHDL描述硬件的三种方式及使用场合 ,同时指出了 VHDL所提供的一种全新的系统设计方法即“自顶向下”(TOP-DOWN)
Digit system to system designing is now taking a new look from hardware to software, from hard to easy, and gets a highly effective result. This paper introduces the mean of VHDL, character and the tomorrow of VHDL, points out three ways of VHDL description hardware and where they will be used. At the same time it introduces a new way of system design -'TOP DOWN'.
