摘要
由于传统的电路设计方法无法适应集成电路设计的发展 ,电子设计自动化 (EDA)已不可逆转 ,而作为 EDA的重要手段 VHDL 也得到了广泛的应用和关注。如何利用VHDL 进行硬件电路设计 ,并且从总体上领会这种与传统电路设计截然不同的手段 ,成为普及和推广 EDA的一个重要基础。本文结合实例从总体上介绍了利用 VHDL设计硬件电路的一般流程。
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) represents the trend of integrated circuit designing.As an important tool of EDA, Computer Hardware Description Language (VHDL) is applied more and more widely.This paper introduces how to design circuits with the methodology of VHDL.Its procedural steps are also illustrated with a sample.
