摘要
优质计算机辅助英语教学软件设计应以一定的理论为指导，这包括：以建构主义学习理论为特征的认知理论、以教材的内容组织与物化形态为主要研究对象的现代教材编写理论、以交际法为主要特点的英语教学理论。多媒体英语教学软件的开发，包括软件的设计、软件的制作和软件的应用三个环节。其主要设计原则有：适应性原则趣味性原则、激励性原则、交互性原则、渐进性原则等。
The excellent computer assisted language learning software must be guided by theories. They include: the cognitive theory,editing theory of modern teaching material and communicative language teaching theory. The making of multimedia software for English teaching involves three phases: design, production and application. The principles of making the software are: to be applicable, interesting, encouraging and reciprocal and to go step by step.
