介绍了莱森特化学系统公司对于未来几年全球石油化学工业的前景展望。全球石化工业的竞争日趋激烈 ,挑战日益严峻 ,但在宏观经济总体向好和基础能源价格趋于合理的前提下 ,全球石化工业将从2 0 0 2年开始逐步复苏 ,在 2 0 0 4年末期左右达到下一个全球石化工业的鼎盛时期。中东地区的生产能力的大规模扩张会使中东地区在亚洲出口市场的份额明显增加 ,但预计不会对市场价格和利润率造成太大负面影响。全球石化工业未来的利润率仍将象历史上一样呈现周期性的变化 。
This paper introduced Nexant Chem Systems'view on the outlook for the global petrochemical industry. With recovery of the global economy and a forecast of reasonable oil prices for the near future, Nexant Chem Systems believes that the global petrochemical industry will start to improve in 2002 and will reach the next fly-up in late 2004. Excessive capacity expansion in the Middle East will substantially increase its market share in the Asia export market, but it is not expected to have a major impact on market price and profitability. The future of the petrochemical industry will continue to be cyclic, but prices and margins in the next cycle will improve significantly compared to the recent past.
