摘要
日本侵华严重摧残了中国的高等教育。高等院校根据战局的发展而适时西迁 ,却使历尽劫难的高等教育得到恢复和一定发展。抗战时期大批的高校师生 ,在十分险恶的环境和极端困难的条件下 ,怀着救国救民的理念 ,坚定抗战必胜的信心 ,继承奋发自强的传统 ,艰辛辗转 ,长途跋涉 ,战胜困难 ,奋力开拓 ,使我国高等教育在战火的严重侵扰下仍弦歌不断 ,并创造了辉煌的教育业绩 ,培养了杰出的科学人才 ,改变了西部的落后面貌 。
Japanese invasion of China severely undermined CHinese higher education.The moving of universities and colleges to the west,however,helps to restore and develop it,resultantly surviving the numorous hardships and misfortunes.In extremely bad conditions and great difficulties,a considerable number of university teachers and students,with the idea of saving China and its citizens and with full confidence to win in the anti-Japanese war,kept the tradition of struggling to be powerful,experienced endless tortures and turnings,treaded a long way to overcome difficulties,and expanded with much effort a variety of research areas,making it possible for Chinese higher education to continue developing in destructive wars.Great educational achievements were then made and outstanding scientists and specialists were also educated.The west,which used to be poor and little expeored,was changed for the better.All these comibine to keep a significant page in the education history of west China.
