摘要
邓小平“韬光养晦、有所作为”的外交思想虽然是十多年前提出来的 ,但是它仍然是我国新世纪外交工作的指导方针。复杂多变的国际和周边形势、亟待提高的综合国力等因素决定了我们必须长期坚持韬光养晦不动摇。与此同时 ,放眼世界 ,树立负责任的大国形象 ,积极融入国际体系、参与调整与改造也是新世纪我国外交的必然选择。如何从战略的高度处理好二者间的辩证关系 ,是当前我国外交面临的重大课题之一。
Deng Xiaoping put forward the diplomatic thoughts that we should hide our talent and live in obscurity and accomplish something more than a decade ago,but it is still a guiding principle of the diplomatic work of new century of our country.Complicated and changeable international and adjacent circumstances,and our overall national power that urgently needs improving determine that we should insist on this principle for a long time.Meanwhlie,it is our inevitable choice to take a broad view of the world,establish the responsible big country image,be in harmony with the international system and participate in its being adjusted and reconstruted.How to handle well the dialectical relations of these two from the standing of strategy is one of the great subjects that China's diplomacy is confronting at presence.
