摘要 人与动物的区别在于:他既是自然,又是非自然——他是文化的动物。文化的深层内核是价值,人生活在一个价值世界中,因此,也可以说人是价值的动物。价值是在人类的客观历史实践活动中所产生和形成的客体对于主体的意义。而美是一种文化现象,属于价值范畴,它是一种特殊的价值形态,存在于人与对象世界之间的关系之中,存在于二者互动关系所生发的意义之中。就此而言,以往美学存在两个明显的误区,一是在价值活动和价值现象之外寻找美,二是认为审美无利害。把审美活动看作是一种价值活动,把美(审美现象)视为一种价值现象,把审美归为价值范畴,也许能把几千年来困扰人们的总想说清楚而总也说不清楚的有关审美的一系列问题,说清楚或说得比较清楚。 The difference between man and animal is that man is a cultural animal, that is to say,man is both natural and anti-natural.The nucleus of culture is significance.As man lives in the world of significance,so he is an animal in pur- suit of significance.Significance refers to meaning of the object toward subject, which took shape in the course of objective historical practice of mankind.Beau- ty is a cultural phenomenon and a category of significance.It is a special signifi- cance and exists in the relationship between man and the objective world.It is a meaning which exists in the meaning derived from the interaction between man and his world.In this sense,there existed two obvious mistakes in aesthetics: on the one hand,beauty was searched for outside the activity and phenomenon of the significance;on the other,aesthetics was considered as non-utilitarian.A series of problems concerning aesthetic that have been puzzling for a long time can be explained if aesthetic activity is seen as the activity of significance,beauty as a phenomenon of significance and aesthetic as a category of significance.
