The premises distribution system (PDS) is the outcome of developing the computer and communication technology in the information time, which is mainly applied to intelligent buildings. The new concept of electrical cabling system in the world was introduced, its construction and characteristics were analyzed and the development trend was discussed. The purpose is to popularize the applications of premises distribution system.
