摘要
FPGA因并行流水线结构的特性,而被广泛应用于数字图像处理等大规模数据处理领域。提出一种基于FPGA的图像处理系统,以完成图像数据的采集、存储及显示等基本功能,实现自适应阈值的Sobel边缘提取算法。Model Sim软件仿真及硬件平台测试结果表明,该系统可有效实现并行的图像处理算法,快速而准确地检测到图像的边缘信息,耗时24 ms,是软件处理速度的10倍以上,能满足实际需求。
FPGA is widely used in large-scale data processing applications such as digital image processing because of the parallel pipeline architecture. This paper studied an FPGA-based image processing system, which could achieve the basic functions such as image data acquisition, storage and display, and implement the Sobel edge extraction algorithm with adaptive threshold. The test results of Model Sim and hardware platform show that the system can effectively implement the parallel image processing algorithm, and quickly and accurately detect the edge information of the image. It takes about 24ms, which is faster than software processing over 10 times. It can meet the actual needs.
