摘要
近年来,以"武侠世界"为代表的北美网络文学翻译平台英译的中国网络文学引发了欧美热。武术文化是网络文学创作的主要内容之一,也是翻译传播的难点,西方读者对武术文化的疯狂追更反映了网络文学和武术文化翻译的高度可接受性。"武侠世界"的译者们对武术文化的跨文化认知、传播策略和对武术文化术语(名称、武术器械和文化负载词)的翻译策略值得借鉴。武术文化的海外传播将会助推网络文学的国际化,提高中国文学的世界地位;武术文化中的民族性元素将会在网络文学译介中得到更多体现,并发挥文化资本和文化符号的重要作用,从而增进民族身份的认同。
Recent years witnessed the thriving of overseas network literature translation websites such as WuXiaWorld, whose translated Chinese network literature overwhelmingly fascinated North American and European readers. As a crucial part of network literature, martial arts culture is a difficult task for translation. Western readers＇ closely following up the translation update reflects the high acceptability of these translations. The cross-cultural understanding, transmission strategies and translation strategies for martial arts terminologies of names, weapons and culture-specific words are ofgreat value for reference. The overseas transmission of martial arts culture would promote the internationalization of network literature and improve the status of Chinese literature and culture in the world; more of national qualities would be reflected in network literature translation; martial arts culture would give full play to the function of cultural capital and symbol, thus enhancing the national identity.
