摘要
利用自建平行语料库,使用Ant Conc和SPAA工具进行检索和统计,得到了where一词的频率、比率等数值。在此基础上,对where在联合国法律英语文本以及中国法律英译本中的频数、比率、用法、译法等进行了比较研究,分析了中国法律中where一词使用频率高于联合国移民法律的原因。
In this paper, AntConc and SPSS are used to obtain the data about the frequency and rate of the word “where” in a self-built parallel corpus. With the comparative method, this article analyses the usage, the methods of translation and the meaning of the word “where”. An analysis is made to find out the reasons why the word “where” appears more frequently in the legal documents of the People’s Republic of China than in the UN conventions.
