With the innovation and development of Internet technology, how universities and colleges support K-12 education has become a vital issue in the field of Internet plus education. As one of the first-rate universities in the world, Massachusetts Institute of Technology has launched more than 100 K-12 initiatives, such as the Highlight for High School, and MIT+K12 Videos, in order to improve K-12 students' STEM(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) literacy and creativity. It is significant for Chinese universities and colleges to take more responsibilities for K-12 students' development through open educational resources and interdisciplinary research on learning, and implementing more creativity-oriented practices in K-12 subject areas so as to facilitate K-12 talents' education in the era of Internet plus.
