摘要
以废弃工业铁路改建而成的纽约高线公园三期于2014年正式面向市民全面开放,标志着这场持续了15年之久的城市公共空间复兴运动取得了阶段性的成果,高线铁路向高线公园的转型基本完成。该项目引起世界各地的广泛关注,在城市公共空间复兴的历史上留下浓重一笔。本文回溯了纽约西切尔西区铁路线设立到向高线公园的转型与复兴过程中所产生的多次矛盾与应对措施,对其在转型过程中所确定的可持续性的规划思想与转型后高线公园的运营管理模式。公共空间中文化事件的插入等展开阅读。探讨城市公共空间在复兴与转型过程中的重要影响因素,提出推进城市公共空间的发展是解决城市快速发展过程中出现的文化自信减弱、城市活力不足等问题的有效途径。
In 2014, the third phase of the New York High Line Park, which was converted from an abandoned in- dustrial railroad, was officially opened to the public, marking a milestone in the urban renewal of the urban space that lasted for 15 years. This paper reviews the establishment of the New York High Line Railway, the revival and transformation of the High Line Park. It studies the planning thought of High Line Park in the early stage of trans- formation, the mode of operation and management after the transformation, and the insertion of cultural events in the public space. Through the case study, this paper explores the important factors that influence the urban public space in the process of rejuvenation and transformation. The development of urban public space is an ef- fective way to solve the problems such as the weakening of cultural confidence and the shortage of urban vitality in the process of rapid urban deveJopment.
