摘要
阐述了掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)的一种新的建模方法.介绍了研制的泵浦波长为980nm的EDFA系统.该系统对泵浦实行恒流和恒温控制并可对输出功率实行恒功率控制.EDFA工作于恒功率状态时,输出信号功率为16×(1±0.02)dBm.该系统可用于长距离、大容量。
A general method for modeling the erbium doped fiber
amplifiers (EDFA) and a practical control system of EDFA are presented. Pumped at 980 nm, this
EDFA system can work with constant output power by controlling the pump current and
temperature. For the light signal wavelengths is from 1 542 nm to 1 560 nm,the gain of this
system is 16×(1±0.02)dBm. The system can be widely used in long distance, high speed
WDM system and CATV system.
