摘要
"夭"字从大,甲骨文字形似人奔走之态。其本义自许慎《说文解字》解释为"夭,屈也,从大,象形"以来一直被人们所误解。为质疑这种普遍存在的误解,以时间为轴线,通过对"夭"字形、义演变的梳理和审美内涵的追溯,并以前人的研究成果作为参照,进一步证明"夭"字本义为:奔走之人形,蕴含着生命的生机活力之美。
The etyma of yao is"da", and the figure of yao's orade-bone inscriptions is like someone who is running. Yao's original meaning has been misunderstood since the Xu Shen's Interpretation of Chinese charac-ters holding the belief that its meaning is to bend. To question this prevailing misconception, this test further proves that Yao's original meaning is running,and the beauty of vigorous life by combing the evolution of yao's form and meaning, tracing yao's aesthetic connotation and referring to previous studies' achievement in chronological order.
