Tracing the Origin of Industrial Relations

摘要 产业关系这个具有百年历史的研究领域,其研究对象历经从雇佣关系到集体雇佣关系再回归雇佣关系的过程。在本文中,笔者将就产业关系研究的起源、变化和回归雇佣关系做一个简要的描述和分析,并在此基础上提出个人对我国产业关系研究的一些看法。本文分为四个部分,首先描述产业关系的起源,然后提出产业关系的研究对象是雇佣关系,接下来追溯产业关系与人力资源管理关系之渊源,最后讨论了我国产业关系研究中存在的两个问题,即理论研究不足和缺少对多目标的兼顾。 The research subject of industry relations, a century-old research field, has experienced a shift from employment relations to collective employment relations and back to employment relations. This paper will provide a brief review and analysis of the origin and evolution of industrial relations and the corresponding return to employment relations in its research. Insightful observations on current industrial relations research in China will be drawn based on the analysis. The paper contains four parts. It starts with describing the origin of industrial relations, followed by examining that the research subject of industrial relations is employment relations. After analyzing the origins and interactions between industrial relations and human resources management, the paper concludes by observing two concerning issues in industrial relations research in China, i.e. insufficient theoretical research, and lack of coverage of and coordination among multiple research objectives.
