This p ap er introduces the principle and basic structure of the universal testing machine used in mechanical properties testing of wire rod and its operation method. Compared with the traditional equipment, this equipment has the advantages of good universality and high degree of automation, which plays a very important role in the mechanical properties testing of the wire rod.
