Aim of the article is the control automation system for the dispatch and distribution project of city gas network. Dispatch and distribution automation system for city natural gas is to dispatch and distribute better the different work of natural gas production and managing departments, utilizing the most advanced information managing technology, computer technology and network technology. The article has introduced the gas automation system construction and development situations of abroad and at home, detailed the system characteristics, functions, structure and network levels.
