摘要
独立主格结构作为一种特殊的语法现象一直受到英语学习者和英语语法研究者的高度关注。置于配价语法框架中考量,独立主格结构展示出其独特的内涵,归结于带主语的非限定分句与无动词分句、不含限定动词的从属分句。
Nominative absolute,as a special grammatical structure,has always caught special attention of English learners and linguists in China. Put in the framework of valency grammar,however,nominative absolute displays its specific nature,taken as non-finite clause or verbless clause with subject,or adverbial subordinate clause with no finite verb.
