摘要
烟台红卍字会是世界红卍字会的分会之一,会员多为地方绅商。20世纪20、30年代,烟台红卍字会开展了卓有成效的慈善救济活动,在胶东、山东,乃至世界红卍字会系统中都有重要影响。烟台红卍字会及其慈善事业应成为书写地方慈善史的重要组成部分。
Yantai Red Swastika Society was a branch of the world Red Swastika Society,the members of which were mainly local gentry and merchants. It carried out an effective charity and social relief work in the1920 s and 1930 s,and occupied an important position in Jiaodong,Shandong and the system of the world Red Swastika Society. Yantai Red Swastika Society and its charities should be an important part of the history of local philanthropy.
