Having a long history, Chinese floral arrangement has its unique floral arrangement patterns in different dynasties from the floral decoration on Buddhist altar in the Wei-Jin Period to the flower arranging by literatus, presenting the distinct lasting appeal of oriental floral arrangement. In terms of aesthetics features, Chinese ancient floral arrangement presented the features of natural inspiration and harmony between nature and man, attached thoughts to flowers and expressed emotions through flowers, and showed the aesthetic characteristics of poetic illusion and harmonious unification. Both the selection of flowers and overall layout of flower arrangement in ancient China show the beauty of artistic conception in aesthetics.
中国插花艺术源远流长,从魏晋时期佛前供花开始到明清时期文人插花,均形成了独特的插花艺术形式,呈现出东方插花艺术的独特韵味。从美学的角度出发,分析出中国古代插花艺术中呈现出师法自然,天人合一;寄情与花、以花抒情;诗情画意、和谐统一的美学特色,中国的古代插花从花材的选取到整体的布局均体现出了美学中意境美的特色。
