摘要 为研究改革开放以来我国铁路运输业发展的效率变动情况,运用DEA-Malmquist指数方法,分别从全国及区域2个层面做了考察。研究结果显示:就全国而言,我国铁路运输业全要素生产率指数的平均值为1.04,其中,技术进步发挥了主导作用,技术效率起到微弱的调和作用;就区域而言,各区域的全要素生产率指数大致呈现出一致的变动趋势,但东、中部地区的全要素生产率指数略高西部和东北部地区。此外,这4个区域全要素生产率增加的大部分原因在于技术进步,而中、西部地区除受到技术进步的影响之外,还受到技术效率调和作用的影响。 In order to study the efficiency changes of railway transport industry in China since its reform and open- ing-up, this paper investigates from both national and regional levels by using DEA-Malmquist index method. It shows that: nationally the average total factor productivity index is 1.04, for which technological progress played a leading role, while technical efficiency just acts as a weak mediator. For the region, the total factor productivity in- dex in different regions shows the same trend, but the average total factor productivity index of east and central re- gions is higher than that in west and northeast regions. In addition, the increase of the total factor productivity index in the four regions is mainly due to technological progress. Besides, the central and west are affected by the tory effect of technical efficiency. regula
