论体验——体验式外语教学、体验式学习、体验哲学之辨析

Discussion on Ti Yan: Differentiation among FLxp Teaching,Experiential Learning and Embodiment

摘要 由于中文均处理作"体验","体验式外语教学"、"体验式学习"、"体验哲学"时有混用现象。本文通过研究三者的异同指出:"体验式外语教学"理论来自于教材编纂和推广使用,因此其诞生具有"自下而上"的特征;"体验式学习"派生于建构主义,是从理论中发展出的一种学习理念;"体验哲学"兴起于认知语言学,其于外语教学的应用属于"自上而下"。本文辨析了三种术语的异同,有助于"体验"与外语教学的进一步结合。 The similar translation as Ti Yan has probably led to confusion among FLxp teaching,experiential learning and embodiment,especially for relevant articles written in Chinese. Through literature review on previous researches this study concludes as follows: For its origination from the practice of textbook compilation and later theory constructions,FLxp teaching is the kind of "bottom up". Experiential learning mainly derives from constructivism,therefore it is a learning concept developed from previous theories. As the philosophical foundation of cognitive linguistics,embodiment comes directly from the thinking of cognitive linguists,thus its practical application to foreign language teaching should belong to the approach of "top down". This research differentiates among the terms of FLxp teaching,experiential learning as well as embodiment,and could function for a better combination between Ti Yan and foreign language teaching.
