摘要
艺术家是一个很早就出现的群体,但他们的身份得到正视却经历了极其漫长的岁月。文章阐述了西方古代艺术家群体从出现直至文艺复兴等各时期的艺术家社会地位的变化过程,探讨了其政治、思想和文化等方面的历史成因,并深刻剖析了文艺复兴对于西方艺术家社会地位发展的关键性作用,从而展现了西方艺术家从卑微到高贵的漫长曲折的觉醒历程。
As a community occurred very early, artists identity were recognized and accepted after the extremely long time since their existence. In this paper, the changes of social status of western artist were introduced from their emergence to that in the renaissance. The historical reasons were discussed in terms of the political, ideological and cultural, and the key role of the renaissance for improving the social status of western artists was analyzed by which exhibited the long and tortuous awakening journey of social status for the western artists, from the humble to the noble.
