摘要
以磁、光、电为介质的电子期刊的问世 ,打破了以纸为介质的传统印刷型期刊一统天下的局面 ,给高校图书馆的期刊收藏和利用工作提出了新的挑战。电子期刊以其传递速度快、信息扩展性强、检索速度快、检索途径多、资源共享性高等优势 ,受到广大读者的青睐。那么 ,印刷型期刊会不会消亡 ?高校图书馆在面临经费有限与资源无限的矛盾时应采取什么样的策略 ?本文拟结合工作实际 。
The traditional printing periodicals made of paper have begun to lose its first place by the coming out of the electronic periodicals made of magnetism by the skill of laser & electricity. It has brought new challenge to the work of college library book collecting and utilizing. Electronic periodicals have become an apple in the eye of many teachers and students by its high transferring speed, strongly expanding performance, fast archiving process, vast accessing approaches & valuable resource sharing system. Facing the shrinking of the paper works, based on the working experience, the author brings out her own opinion in which many approaches have been mentioned to countermeasure the contradiction between the shortage of the outlay and the immensity of the information resource in college libraries.
