Objective To explore the detection results of 5 trace elements in calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron and copper in children aged from 0 to 6.Methods A total of 500 cases children aged from 0 to 6 were randomly selected in our city from July 2014 to July 2016.They were divided into less than 1 year old group,1 year old group,2 years old group,3 years old group and over 4 years old group according to age.The levels of calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron and copper in 5 groups of children were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry(AAS),and then the detection results were analyzed. Results The rate of calcium deficiency in 4 years old group was significantly higher than that in less than 1 year old group, the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05).The rate of zinc and iron deficiency in 4 years old group was significantly lower than that in less than 1 year old group, the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05).Copper deficiency rate in female children was higher than that in male children in less than 1 year old group,1 year old group,2 years old group,3 years old group and over 4 years old group, the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05).Conclusion Iron and zinc deficiency is common in children aged from 0 to 6,copper,calcium and magnesium deficiency is rare. With the increase of age,the degree of calcium deficiency increased, the zinc and iron deficiency decreased.Add a food supplement timely in infancy, reasonable diet collocation, and guiding children to develop good eating habits is particularly important. At the same time,it is necessary to standardize the technical operation of medical staff in the laboratory to ensure the accurate and reliable results.
