摘要
西周黎国位于今山西省黎城县,与商代子姓黎国有别,当为武王戡黎之后由周王分封而来的姬姓之国。由于其血缘与宗亲等因素,西周黎国封为侯爵,黎氏族人曾供职于王室,具有较重要的政治地位。同时由于地理位置的特殊性,其承担有对殷遗民及北方戎族等少数民族的军事震慑与防御职责,军事地位彰显。西周黎国与妊姓薛国、妘姓琱国及王室官员等曾建立了姻亲关系,这进一步体现了黎国在西周早中期非同一般的政治、军事地位,也体现了周人等级内婚制原则。
Situated in Li Cheng（黎城） county of Shanxi province, the Li （黎） State was enfeoffed by the King of Zhou（周） after the two battles that led by King Wen of Zhou and King Wu of Zhou against the Li （黎） State of Shang Dynasty. The new Li State＇ s family name was not ＂Zi＂ （子 ）, but ＂Ji＂ （ 姬 ）, which was the surname of Zhou＇s royal family. Due to the blood relationship, Li State of Zhou Dynasty, occupying a significant political position, was a state with the title of nobility of marquis, and the monarch of Li as well as his younger brother once worked for the royal court. Meanwhile, owing to the particular geographic loca- tion, the Li State was responsible for the defense against the adherents of Shang Dynasty and the nomadic tribes in the north. Therefore, Li owned a crucial military status. Li State of Zhou Dynasty had marriage ties with Xue （ 薛 ） State surnamed ＂Ren＂ （ 妊 ） and Diao （ 琱 ） State surnamed ＂Yun＂ （ 妘 ） and royal officials, which reflected further Li＇s extraordinary politico - military position as well as the principle of hierarchal eno dogamy of Zhou Dynasty.
