THE“two sessions”was imbued with particular significance this year as it was the last session of the 12th National People’s Congress(NPC)and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC).For this reason,it provided a prime opportunity to analyze President Xi’s first term in office.
