Design of portable laser CO_2 sensor for agricultural environment

摘要 在农业生产领域中,农作物及畜禽等的生长与二氧化碳密切相关,目前,农业领域二氧化碳气体监测传感器都广泛采用电化学的方式,其存在易老化、寿命短、反应慢、精度低、需校准等缺点。设计一种基于TDLAS的便携式CO_2传感器,以波长1 572.3nm的VCSEL垂直腔面发射激光器作为CO_2气体检测的光源,有效降低系统功耗,通过增加反射次数减少气体吸收室的尺寸,设计了温控控制和良好的散热结构,从而提高系统的检测灵敏度。通过试验研究表明,该装置具有反应速度快、寿命长、精度高、无需校准等优点。 Growth of crops, livestock and poultry are closely related to carbon dioxide. Electrochemical mode is extensively adopted for COz gas monitoring sensors currently, and easy aging, short lifetime, slow response, low precision, requirement for calibration and other defects exist. A portable laser CO2 sensor based on TDLAS was designed. VCSEL vertical cavity surface emitting laser with the wavelength of 1 572.3nm is set as the light source of CO2 gas detection, which can reduce system power consumption effectively. The detection sensitivity is improved by designing precise temperature control and heat dissipation structure, and size of the gas absorption chamber is reduced by increasing the number of reflection. The experimental results show that this designed sensor has the advantages of fast response speed, long lifetime, high precision and no need for calibration.
