Objective To investigate the clinical effect and feasibility of one-time root canal therapy in the treatment of pulpitis. Methods 240 patients with pulpitis from January 2014 to July 2015 in our hospital were selected as the research objects.According to the average distribution principle, all the patients were divided into the observation group and the control group,120 cases in each group. The observation group was given one-time root canal therapy, and the control group was treated with traditional root canal therapy. The degree of postoperative pain was observed and recorded. The short-term and long-term clinical results of the two groups after 2 weeks and 12 months of follow-up were compared, respectively. Results The postoperative pain of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, with significant difference(P〈0.01).The short-term total effective rate of the observation group was 91.67%,which was higher than that of the control group(77.50%),with significant difference(P〈0.01).The long-term total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group(81.67%),with significant difference(P〈0.01).Conclusion By comparing with the traditional root canal treatment,one-time root canal treatment can significantly relieve postoperative pain and improve the curative effects of short-term and long-term clinical treatment,it is worthy of popularization and application.
