摘要
文章指出在其短篇小说集《九故事》中,塞林格将具有传统诗意及非传统诗意的主题对立统一起来,运用不同层次的语义悖论和不同种类的语象塑造出一个个"不合时宜"的人物形象,追问着人与人以及人与世界的关系问题,而对这三方面的研究有助于了解小说集中鲜明而浓厚的诗性特征。
This paper argues that in Nine Stories Salinger portrayed many misfit heroes or heroines and explored the basic questions about the relationships between man and man as well as man and the world through the juxtaposition of traditional and non-traditional poetic subjects, the use of paradoxes of different semantic levels and the employment of various types of images. This paper centers on these three aspects and thus gives a detailed analysis of the poetic characteristics embodied in this short story collectioh.
