摘要
《水浒传》与《绿林英雄罗宾汉》分别反映了中、英两国的绿林英雄起义,但两部小说在内容上有很大的不同。从对待女性的态度来看,《水浒传》表现出对女性的歧视,而《绿林英雄罗宾汉》则表现出对女性的尊重;从人物命运归宿的角度看,《水浒传》中的人物因缺乏彻底的反抗精神和革命意志,最终沦为封建统治者维护其统治的工具,而《绿林英雄罗宾汉》中的人物拥有鲜明的政治立场,敢于正面对抗残暴的统治者。从上述两个方面可以看出,两部小说的主题虽然相似,但它们所表现的思想意识却截然不同,这是作者不同的阶级立场和社会观念的反映。
The two novels, ＂All the Men Are Brothers＂and ＂Robin Hood＂, are both the stories about the common people＇s rebellions against the imperial powers in China of the Song Dynasty and Britain in the 12 th century. However, the two novels are greatly different in content. As to heroes＇ attitudes towards women, ＂All the Men Are Brothers＂shows sexual discrimination against women, while＂Robin Hood＂embodies respect to them. As to heroes＇ fate, due to lack of thorough rebellion spirit and revolutionary determination, the heroes in＂All the Men Are Brothers＂finally became ruler＇s tool to maintain Feudal sovereignty. On the contrary, the heroes in ＂Robin Hood＂dared to directly fight against cruel rulers, showing their clear political standpoint. By studying the two novels, we find similar themes but different social ideas, which shows the authors＇ different standpoints and social concepts.
